“I truly believe that strong public schools are the backbone of our American society and Conway Public Schools is empowering the future of our city by developing a productive workforce, creating informed citizens, and providing social mobility.”

― Trey Geier
  • Trey Geier is a graduate of Russellville High School. After graduation, he attended the University of Central Arkansas and graduated with a degree in Health Service Administration. This is the place where he met Lauren, his wife of 22 years. Like many UCA alumni, Trey and Lauren decided to make Conway the place to raise their family. Geier spent over ten years in the U.S. Army where he rose to the rank of Captain. Moreover, he served two tours in Iraq. Trey is currently a roofing contractor.

Trey was elected to the Conway School Board on May 9, 2023. Since being on the board, he has worked with the Human Resources Department of Conway Public Schools to help create initiatives to attract and retain talented educators and staff.

Trey is a member of First United Methodist Church where he is a Youth Sunday School Teacher. He enjoys woodworking, volunteering with Community Leaders at Work for Students (CLAWS) at the high school, PTO, and Watch Dog Dads, and spending time with his family. Trey and Lauren have three children in the school district: an 11th grader, a 5th grader, and a 2nd grader. They juggle schedules maintaining their kids’ extracurricular activities. In fact, their older son is a current member of the Conway High School Soccer Team and was a member when the team won the 6A State Championship in 2022 and 2023.

Trey is seeking re-election for the Zone 5 seat of the Conway School Board. “I am looking forward to continuing the work of supporting our district’s administrators, teachers, staff, and most importantly, our students. I truly believe that strong public schools are the backbone of our American society and Conway Public Schools is empowering the future of our city by developing a productive workforce, creating informed citizens, and providing social mobility.”
